Move-In Date

July 7th!

My two roommates Hayley and Jacquisha are signing the lease today. My family is visiting Philly for July 4th weekend and helping me move my things to DC before they come back to Ohio, so I'll sign then.

Couldn't be happier to be moving forward with all of this, but I must admit I'm getting nervous! The reality of moving so far away from home is finally starting to set in. It'll be a fun adventure though and I'm very excited so see how it all unfolds!

Get That Outta Here

The suggestion of adding "Yeoman" to the middle of my title was made.

To which I responded, "Get that outta here."

The Journey

For those who are wondering, the title of this blog went through many edits.

The first was "David's Blog", but I wanted a little more...mmm...how do you say...POP.

Then I considered "Ballad of a Young Dreamer," but perhaps that was a little too much pop.

Settled on "Buckeye to Terp" which actually describes my transition. I was a Buckeye...and will now be a Terp.

Let it marinate.

After weeks of building anticipation, my blog is finally here!

This will be a place for graduate school updates, news, adventures, and shenanigans for anyone who's interested.

Shenanigans.
